Tuesday, Jan 24th 2012
Morris will be playing at Pierre's restaurant in Bridgehampton, from 6.30 until 9.30 p.m. with Peter Weiss bass, Jane Hastay piano. They will play jazz standards and music from the American Songbook.

Friday, Feb 24th 2012
Morris will perform at Wolffer Estate winery, Sagg Road, Sagaponac, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Free, wine by the glass or bottle. Morris on sax, clarinet, pennywhistle, Bill Smith kybd, Jorge Mesa bass. This is part of their Candlelight Fridays series.

Sunday March 4th
 Morris will perform at Raphael Winery, 39390 Main Road, rte 25, Peconic, NY 11958 tel 631 765 1100. The "Super Band" will include Randy Brecker, Lew Soloff trumpets, Ada Rovatti Jim Campagnola and myself saxes, Claes Brondal drums, Bryan Campbell guitar, Rashid Lanie kybd, Peter Weiss bass. The concert, which is part of the Long Island Winter festival, will run from 4.30 p.m. until 6.30 p.m.

Saturday March 10th
Morris will perform with OJOYO, playing his original South African influenced jazz compositions. The venue is Duck Walk North, 44535 Main Road rte 25 Southold NY 11971. The band features Bakithi Kumalo bass, Rashid Lanie kybd, Mark Portugal drums. The band will play from 4.30 p.m. until 6.30 p.m. This is also part of the Long Island Winterfest.

The OJOYO sound is Safrojazz, a combination of South African and American music. Cape Town born Morris Goldberg combined the sounds of his Township heritage, with the American music he learned to love. Morris, "Mo Gee", has also performed with many American artists, notably, Paul Simon, Harry Belafonte and Herbie Hancock; and South African artists including Hugh Masekela, Miriam Makeba, and Jonathan Butler.
