The Ojoyo
sound is Safrojazz, a fusion of South African and
American music. Capetown born Morris Goldberg combines
the sounds of his heritage, with the American music he learned to
love. Morris ("Mo Gee") has performed
with many American artists, notably, Paul Simon,
Harry Belafonte and Herbie Hancock;
and South African artists including Hugh Masekela,
Miriam Makeba, Jonathan Butler
and Letta Mbulu.
